International Dorothy Dunnett Day approaches! There will be a gathering at the Dunnett stone in the Makars Court in Edinburgh, at 12 noon on Saturday November 9th, and there are various interesting possibilities before and after: a visit to the National Library of Scotland's excellent (and conveniently small) exhibition of Renaissance Scotland beforehand - I am seeing if we can find a curator on duty that day who might be able to answer some of our questions - and there are two options for lunch afterwards.
