Bridging Hearts, Building CommunitiesWelcome to A Day at Ummah Masjid, held in the spirit of Interfaith Harmony Week. Today is an invitation to learn, experience, and connect across faiths and cultures in a welcoming and open environment.
Ummah Masjid reflects the rich multicultural fabric of our community. Muslims come from many ethnicities, languages, and traditions, united by shared values of faith, compassion, justice, and service. This day is designed to offer our guests a meaningful window into Islamic belief, daily practice, and the diverse cultures that make up the Muslim community.
We encourage you to explore, ask questions, participate in activities, and engage in conversations—because true harmony begins with understanding, and understanding begins with human connection.
Program (Tentative)
10:00 – Doors Open
Welcome and registration.
10:20-12:10
– Qur’an Recitation
An introduction to the spiritual foundation of the Masjid.
– Brief Presentation & Open Q&A
An interactive session on Islam, Muslim life, & community values.
– Trivia (3 Winning Tables)
A fun, engaging learning experience.
– Maritime Muslim Academy Performance
A cultural performance highlighting community spirit.
12:15 – Prayer Hall Tour
A guided tour on Muslim prayer & prayer hall etiquette.
12:30 – Friday Prayer
An opportunity to observe a central weekly Islamic practice.
1:30 – 2:30 PM – Lunch & Socialization.
2:30 PM – 8:00 PM – Open House & Booth Exploration.
