Her story title is: I am not my job description
From waitressing and nannying to solo world travel, floristry and coaching, her journey has been anything but conventional. She'll share how years of feeling unsure about her direction eventually taught her that our worth isn’t found in our job titles, but in the lives’ we live, the people we meet, and the courage we find along the way.
A little bit about Alice
Alice lives in Ludgvan with her husband, Ben, two teenage children and their whippet, Rocket.
Alice specialises in helping women who feel stuck, overwhelmed or disconnected from themselves to find clarity, confidence and a renewed sense of possibility. A lover of the sea, adventure and heartfelt conversations, she is passionate about helping people reconnect with themselves and discover what’s possible when they move beyond fear, limiting beliefs and worry.

Mariel Rotherham is a writer and former café owner who is currently figuring out the rest…
Mariel’s story title is: “What the hell does she know anyway?”
After having walked away from two thriving businesses by the age of 34, Mariel is starting over. Again. From the outside she looks bold, even brave. But from where she stands? She feels lost. Navigating limiting beliefs of education vs experience, she's figuring out where she fits into the world of business today, and where she goes from here. Inspiring? Well, that’s all in the eye of the beholder.
A bit about Mariel
Mariel Rotherham grew up on Vancouver Island, Canada, and relocated to Cornwall for a man she met on holiday. Well, he was the catalyst anyway, and it makes for a better story. Together they built Farm & Fort café, in rural West Cornwall, and she turned it into an internationally recognised brand. After having sold the café at the beginning of this year, she released a memoir titled Types of Tears and How They Fall and is now trying to figure out where the f$@# she goes from here.

Sarah Wossidlo is the owner of Olla Hiki a woodfired, wild sauna in Newquay.
Sarah’s story title: The strength of our sauna community through challenging times
Sarah will take us on a journey that explores the phenomenal effort and strength of her sauna community, when she was diagnosed with breast cancer in November 2023.
She will share how so many people wanted to help and support her and her family in their day-to-day life, even though they didn’t know them well. How working at the sauna once a week, seeing familiar faces, during her treatment bought a sense of joy and ‘normality’ amongst the scary, tiring, traumatising procedures. And Sarah will explain how she used regular sauna during her own chemo treatment.
Sarah actively encourages people with cancer (or any disease) to reach out to their community, to not suffer in silence! She says healing is possible and more doable with good people around us!
A bit about Sarah
Sarah owns & runs Olla Hiki Sauna, a mobile sauna on Newquay’s beaches.Growing up in Germany with saunas all around her motivated her to bring this beautiful practice to Cornwall. She opened Olla Hiki in 2022. In May 2026, Olla Hiki came 2nd at the National Sauna Summit for “Best Community Sauna” in the UK. A phenomenal reflection of the hard work her and her amazing team have put into their little haven. Olla Hiki launches a mother & baby sauna club on the 17th June.
