An evening of outstanding contemporary folk, country and indie songwriting featuring two acclaimed acts from opposite sides of the world.
Cornwall's Bailey Tomkinson & The Locals bring their distinctive Country Indie-Pop sound, blending coastal cowgirl spirit, soaring melodies and emotionally charged storytelling. Named a BBC Introducing "One to Watch" for 2025, they have shared stages with Keane, Simple Minds and Sheryl Crow while building a growing national following with their vibrant live performances and acclaimed EP Witching Hour.
Joining them from New Zealand, Chris Dent presents an intimate solo set from the award-winning folk group Albi & The Wolves. Stripping the band's celebrated sound back to voice and guitar, Chris delivers captivating songs, heartfelt stories, foot-stomping folk anthems and a healthy dose of dry Kiwi wit. The band have performed at WOMAD and won Best Folk Artist at the Aotearoa Music Awards.
