About this Event

"Inspiring the Health and Care Researchers of Tomorrow"

Join us for a vibrant and interactive conference designed to spark the research ambitions of the next generation of health and care professionals. Aimed at healthcare and social care students across the East of England region, this event offers a unique opportunity to:

  • Explore research careers in health and social care
  • Hear inspiring keynote talks from academic and clinical leaders
  • Network with professionals from universities and employing organisations

This one-day conference equips aspiring researchers with the information, connections, and insights into a research-active career, the first steps of which can be through the fully funded MRes in Health and Care Research at the University of Essex, and MRes in Health and Social Care at the University of Hertfordshire.

  • Centrally located at the Clayton Hotel, just 2 minutes walk from Cambridge mainline railway station.
  • Refreshments provided throughout the day.
  • Reasonable travel expenses reimbursed for prospective students who meet the eligibility criteria for the MRes programme at either the University of Essex or the University of Hertfordshire.
  • Full programme and speaker details will be added as they are confirmed.
