Informational Meeting & Registration for 2026-27 Homeschool Battle of the Books

** Join us on Monday, August 3rd from 10:00am-noon at the Brookfield Public Library to formulate/finalize your teams, pay the registration fee, watch a mock battle, and GET THE BOOKLIST!! (Please note: the book list will NOT be distributed prior to the meeting. If you cannot be at the meeting, we will email it out to fully registered participants after the meeting).
BoB is a reading competition for students in 4th-8th grade who are homeschooled. Students create teams of 3 and read 30 great books over the course of 6 months (teams can break up the reading in whatever manner they choose). Then they meet three times to “battle” against other teams. Questions are asked which reveal unique content from each book and the teams receive points for correctly identifying the book.
POTENTIAL 2027 TOURNAMENT DATES: These tournament dates are still pending approval from the location in Brookfield and we will let you know when they are officially approved, but put a placeholder in your calendar for February 18 @ 10am-noon, February 25 @10am-noon, March 4 @10am-1pm (all Thursdays)
