Join us for our first community vet-led information session hosted by Dr. Ellen Kinzl, owner and founder of our clinics, Canary District Animal Hospital and Liberty Village Animal Hospital.

This special event will be held at Black Lab Brewing, a dog-friendly brewery, so bring your well-behaved pooch, grab a pint, and enjoy an evening of learning with Dr. Ellen.

Maintaining a healthy weight is one of the most important things we can do for our dogs’ long-term health, yet it’s also one of the most common challenges for pet owners. During this session, Dr. Ellen will walk through the basics of canine weight management, including:

• How to tell if your dog is at a healthy weight

• The health risks associated with pet obesity

• Portion control and understanding pet food labels

• Treats, activity, and lifestyle changes that support a healthy weight

• Practical tips to help pets lose weight safely

The evening will include a short PowerPoint presentation followed by a Q&A session, giving you the opportunity to ask your own questions about your pet.

This is meant to be a relaxed, educational evening for pet owners, whether you’re curious about your pet’s weight, looking for prevention tips, or simply interested in learning more about veterinary care.
