If you’re not already a hand drummer, or perhaps have never tried group hand drumming but have been tempted to try it, then this is the perfect event for you!
Hand drums are one of the easiest and most fun instruments to learn to play, and discover the fun, healing and connecting benefits of recreational music making - you’ll be glad you did!
If you are already a drummer and are curious about therapeutic drumming, then come and experience the power of HealthRHYTHMS, an evidence-based group hand drumming protocol that has been helping people to heal, to de-stress and connect with others for over 20 years.
Rufus Glassco (of Rhythm Kingdom and SoundBenetifs.ca) is one of the leading therapeutic drummers in Canada, and has been facilitating HealthRHYTHMS and Rhythm to Recovery drum circles for health and wellness for over 20 years. They are clinically proven to significantly lower stress hormones, and provide a strong boost to the immune system.
No experience is required, although experienced drummers are always in attendance, and are very welcome!
All drums and percussion instruments are provided, although you are welcome to bring your favourite drum & percussion instruments too!
