Join us for a vibrant evening of rhythm, connection, and pure musical joy!
The Drumunity Drum Circles are a welcoming space for drummers, percussionists, dancers and music lovers of all levels to come together and co-create an unforgettable groove.
A sacred space where rhythm becomes ritual, and music is the language of the collective spirit!
📆 Drumunity Drum Circles take place the second and fourth Wednesday of each month (except for the end of Feb and in March). starting on January 14th - future dates include: January 28th, February 11th, April 8th & 22nd, and May 13th & 27th.
🌕 The journey begins at 8:30 PM with a complimentary 20-minute drumming initiation — perfect for newcomers, anyone looking to warm up or wishing to ground into the groove.
We will have a limited number of extra djembe drums and percussion instruments for those who don't yet have their own. These will be available on a first come, first serve basis.
Then from 9 to 10.30 pm we flow into an open, un-facilitated drum circle where creativity, improvisation, and good vibes reign supreme. Every heartbeat, tap, and shake is welcomed in this free-flowing rhythmic experience. Bring your drum, rattle, shaker, or simply your presence.
Bring your energy, and let intuition lead.
The Unity Studio has plenty of chairs so there is no need to bring one!
DANCERS are welcome as you always bring so much vitality and inspiration to the drum circle : )

ABOUT THE HOST:
Rufus Glassco has been facilitating drum circles for 20 years, and he passionately believes that everyone has rhythm, and that we all long for, and benefit from, real connection with others. He facilitates recreational, shamanic and workplace health & wellness drum circles, and is a certified HealthRHYTHMS & Rhythm2Recovery facilitator. He works with children & older adults, people with cancer, PTSD and mental illness, and he facilitates corporate & teacher wellness & resiliency workshops.
