How can we live our most creative lives? Limitations are often seen as impenetrable walls. While these are very real obstacles and should not be downplayed, there is power in the paradox of limitations.

This 2-hour workshop explores how limitations fuel innovation, pushing us beyond our traditional perspectives. By reframing constraints as opportunities, we can discover creative breakthroughs, optimize our resources, and build resilience within a like-minded community.

Maybe you don't consider yourself an artist, but you've always been interested in the arts and creativity. With the many demands of everyday life, it is tricky to find time to devote to artistic projects. But maybe you are yearning for a creative outlet.

This four-part workshop will nurture, challenge, and inspire you to build confidence through creativity and community to find practical solutions and discover a world of possibility that shows how serendipity strikes when you keep an open mind.

We will explore these topics:

1. Everyday magic: The little things right under our noses
2. Ditching the inner critic
3. Creating in community
4. Strategic constraints for the win!

A fundamental part of the DreamOut experience is the DreamBox. It's an activity that blends oral history, creative writing, and visual art in order to foster resilience, growth, and change. We will have a chance to begin our own DreamBoxes that day.

At the end of the workshop, participants will have an "Individualized Dream Plan" and a "Group Dream Plan" that will encourage them to continue their 'dreamwork' beyond the workshop.
