Infertility Support Group

Join us for a four-week support group (Oct 9, 16, 23, 30) dedicated to those navigating the challenges of infertility. Each session will last 60 minutes, providing a safe space to share experiences, gain insights, and build hope. You are welcome to bring dinner or a snack to ensure your comfort.

What to Expect:

At our first meeting, you'll receive a journal and pen, which you'll bring back each week. These sessions are designed to provide mutual support; you’ll gain as much from your peers as from the group leader. We encourage kindness and respect in all interactions, as everyone’s journey through infertility is unique.

- Universality of Experience: You’re not alone—many share similar struggles.

- Instillation of Hope: We aim to foster optimism for the future.

- Imparting Information: Learn and share valuable insights.

- Catharsis: Release and express emotions in a supportive environment.

- Interpersonal Learning: Grow through others' experiences and reflections.

Structure of Each Meeting:

- Begin with a grounding meditation

- Weekly check-in and journal prompt introduction

- Group discussion based on journal reflections

- Conclude with a centering meditation

- Optional journal prompts provided for the week ahead

Confidentiality is crucial to creating a supportive atmosphere. The more openly you share, the more beneficial the group will be for everyone.

Please note: Nothing is off-limits in terms of discussion, but we ask that everyone be mindful of how they share details. This is a space for empathy and understanding, and your respect for others' experiences will help maintain a nurturing environment.
