‘The most profound things are inexpressible’, Jenny Holzer, Truisms. Sightlines Projects invited artists who are interested in responding to the world we live in to submit short films that reflect their views, thoughts or feelings in considered, non-prescriptive, experimental ways; to express what may feel inexpressible by other means. The resulting screening presents an array of lived experience that reflects the intersection of the personal and political in thoughtful and thought-provoking ways.
Featuring films by: Natasha Abrahams, Steve Burden, Myriam Cohenca, Maryam Hassanein, Alexandra Kumala, Lin Li, Kate McDonnell, Michael Mersereau, Marian Obando and Sally Waterman.
Part of Fringe Arts Bath festival, 22 May – 6 June 2026 in Bath, UK. A free festival of exhibitions, events, performances, workshops, interventions and surprises.
Free. No need to book. Doors open 18:30, screening starts at 19:00.
Please note: some films cover topics which some audiences may find difficult. Information will be available on the night.
