Born Jaime Chase and raised in Kennett, Missouri, J Love grew up with music all around her: a gospel-singing grandfather, an R&B artist cousin, and the church as her first stage. Her influences include Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, and Etta James, and her album Life’s Side Effects captures a voice shaped by soul, experience, and a strong connection with listeners.
