About this Event

Join Shane Weeks (Shinnecock) and Tecumseh Ceaser (Matinecock/Montaukett/Unkechaug) for a tour through the grounds of the Garden. The tour will cover the Indigenous history of Long Island, native plants, and their importance to Indigenous communities.

Tour will proceed rain or shine — please dress appropriately. All ticket sales will be donated to Metoac Indigenous Collective.

By public transportation, take the number 7 subway line to Main Street, the Long Island Rail Road (Port Washington line) to Main Street/Flushing, or the Q44-SBS or Q20 bus.
