About this Event

In this talk, Shane Weeks (Shinnecock) will discuss Indigenous Practices of Land Stewardship on Long Island, and the importance of some of the plants used traditionally by Indigenous people here.

Pre-registration not required, but appreciated. Donations are also appreciated - all donations will be passed to Metoac Indigenous Collective.

By public transportation, take the number 7 subway line to Main Street, the Long Island Rail Road (Port Washington line) to Main Street/Flushing, or the Q44-SBS or Q20 bus.
