Italy is home to one of the most diverse and fascinating wine cultures in the world, with hundreds of indigenous grapes that have been grown for generations and tell the story of the places and people behind them.
Join us at Vichino’s for a special Indigenous Grapes of Italy Wine Tasting, led by Italian native and wine import representative Antonio, as we explore wines made from grapes that are uniquely and unmistakably Italian.
Throughout the evening, Antonio will guide us through a hand-selected lineup of wines while sharing the history, traditions, and stories behind these native grapes. We’ll discover what makes each wine distinctive, how centuries of Italian winemaking have shaped what’s in the glass, and why many of these lesser-known grapes deserve a place at the table alongside Italy’s more familiar wines.
As always, this is a Vichino’s tasting—educational, approachable, and most importantly, fun! Whether you’re an Italian wine lover or simply looking to discover something completely new, this is a chance to taste beyond the familiar and experience another side of Italy.

As always, your tasting will be paired with our signature Vichino’s pretzel charcuterie featuring assorted meats, cheeses, fruit, and our famous pretzel nuggets.
