Community members are invited to the award-winning Indigenous Cultural Celebration marking the beginning of Indigenous History Month, celebrating the rich and diverse cultures of the Indigenous Peoples of Turtle Island.Enjoy a variety of performances and interactive workshops led by First Nations, Inuit and Métis presenters and storytellers. Event highlights include:
🔶 Family Area: Storytelling, craft making, and interactive activities for all ages.
🔶 Education Area: Water teachings, workshops, and demonstrations.
🔶 Vendors: A selection of food and merchandise vendors showcasing and selling their creations and artwork.
🔶 Main Stage: Presentations include hand drumming, traditional dancing, storytelling, and more.
