Main short-film showcase: Privileged Tongue: Isang Privileged na Dila
A Filipino-American who is struggling with an identity crisis. She questions what truly defines her, desperately seeking for answers. Malaya goes back to therapy, in hopes to discover some form of answer for this internal dilemma. With the guidance of Vance, they begin to dive deeper into her consciousness, unveiling more and more. As she gets closer to a potential explanation for all of her pain, she is faced with unimaginable forces. A deeply personal story from local filmmaker Jason De Leon.
