On Sunday, September 20th, The Mahoning Drive-In Theater continues our “Indie Darlings” series with the first film by Quentin Tarantino, the heist-gone-wrong ensemble tough guy classic, RESERVOIR DOGS (1992).
Join Mr. White, Mr. Orange, Mr. Blonde, Mr. Pink, Mr, Blue, and Mr. Brown, as they plan and execute (poorly) a bank heist, under the watchful eyes of Big Joe and Nice Guy Eddie, and try to figure out which one of them is the rat that made the whole caper go south.
An indie hit that instantly made the world stand up and take notice of writer/director Tarantino, with a rock-solid cast, rapid-fire dialogue and a killer soundtrack, RESERVOIR DOGS barely played theaters before exploding on home video and making Tarantino a much sought-after A-List director and screenwriter in the 90s.
