Indianapolis Holiday Church Tour 2025

Explore the architecture, preservation, and tradition of historic churches in and around Indianapolis's Mapleton-Fall Creek neighborhood, including some decorated for the holidays.
On a go-at-your-pace tour, get an inside look at five outstanding churches, all open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. EST: Tabernacle Presbyterian Church, New Circle Church, Trinity Episcopal Church, Phillips Temple CME Church, and Broadway United Methodist Church.
Learn about the architectural features and history of each house of worship from representatives on site—including recently completed restoration work at Broadway United Methodist, aided by a $400,000 grant from Indiana Landmarks’ Sacred Places Indiana Fund, and new initiatives at Phillips Temple and New Circle sparked by Sacred Places Indiana’s New Dollars/New Partners program. We suggest planning at least 2 hours to enjoy the full experience.
Indiana Landmarks proudly presents this experience in partnership with area congregations. A portion of the proceeds benefit Indiana Landmarks’ Sacred Places Indiana program.
Advance tour tickets cost $20/adult (age 12 & up), $15/member of Indiana Landmarks, $10/child (ages 6-11), and are free to children ages 5 and under. Advance ticket holders may check in at any time at tour headquarters, Tabernacle Presbyterian Church, 418 E 34th Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46205, to receive a tour program and map.
Day-of-tour tickets cost an additional $5 per ticket price and may be purchased at Tabernacle Presbyterian Church, beginning at 10 a.m. EST on December 6.
Tourgoers are responsible for their own transportation between stops. Ample parking is available at all sites.
