Join us for Prairie Seeds-Growing Together Like a Prairie Family, an inclusive, hands-on nature program where children and teens explore how prairie plants grow, spread, and thrive as a diverse community. Though storytelling, seed dispersal discovery, and a guided seed-collecting walk, participants will learn how seeds travel- by wind, water, animals and more-and how each one plays a special role in the prairie. Each child will decorate and fill a seed packet to take home, starting their own prairie family. This joyful program celebrates how, like seeds, we all grow differently-and together, we create a stronger, more beautiful community.This program is designed specifically for children on the autism spectrum, and/or, children who live with a disability. Children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the program. Registration required.
