Prairie Seeds-Nature Way to Grow a Prairie FamilyCome explore the prairie with us in this playful, hands-on nature program made just for preschoolers! Children will discover how tiny seeds travel across the land-by wind, water, animals, and more-and how they grow into many different kinds of plants. Through stories, movement games, and a short seed-collecting walk, we'll learn how the prairie is like a big family, with lots of different plants growing side by side. Each child will decorate a special seed packet to take home and start their own prairie family. This joyful program celebrates how we all grow in our own way-and how we grow best when we grow together.
Little Explorers is a preschool series that allows parents and their 3-5 year olds an opportunity to investigate nature through hands-on learning, sensory exploration, and hikes. Registration required.
