About this Event

Inaugural Nashville City Cemetery Dia de Muertos

Join us on November 1, 2026, at 1:00 PM (CT) for a colorful and joyful celebration of Día de Muertos, a vibrant tradition that honors the memories of loved ones who have passed away. This festive day is filled with bright marigolds, beautiful altars, and heartfelt remembrance, bringing together communities to celebrate life and legacy with love and laughter.

What makes this event even more special is its setting in the historic Nashville City Cemetery, a place rich with stories and history, where the past whispers as we honor those who came before us. It’s a beautiful reminder that remembrance connects us across time, and cultures make this celebration truly meaningful.

This event is made possible by our incredible community partners: Chestnut Hill Neighborhood Association, Nashville City Cemetery Association, Silent Book Club, La Mision ConArte, Council Members Terry Vo and Sandra Sepulveda
