Welcome to the Inaugural Fairfax Library Invitational Chess Tournament


Get ready for some friendly competition at the Fairfax Branch Library! Join us on July 18, 2026 for the very first Chess Tournament. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned chess player, this event is open to enthusiasts of all levels. This is a great chance to test your skills and meet fellow chess players in person. Don’t miss out on the fun!


Saturday, July 18, 2026, starting at 11:30 AM - 5 PM.

Three timed rounds.

PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED - NO EXCEPTIONS!


Non-Rated Section: FREE


US Chess Federation Rated Section:

G/30; d0, SS = Swiss System, Entry Fee: $20 CASH ONLY (collected on-site)
