Inaugural "Make Home Possible" Golf Tournament

This is a fundraising event for the Good Shepherd Housing Foundation. The foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing affordable housing opportunities throughout Prince William County for low to limited-income individuals, single parents, and families, especially those who struggle with mental illness. The Foundation has served the community for nearly 35 years. Available affordable housing managed by the Foundation includes 3 Shared Living Homes, 14 townhomes, and 10 apartments. Those who qualify for housing never pay more than 30% of their income for rent and often receive utility assistance.

How Can You Help?

Maintaining the properties managed by Good Shepherd Housing is an expensive and ongoing project. The cost to upkeep the homes and apartments far exceeds the funding received. In addition to government grants, individual donor support is essential to being able to perform the Foundation’s mission. Your participation in this event as a player, and especially as a sponsor will directly support:

-Ongoing maintenance and upgrades

-Rental and Utility assistance

And provide permanence, affordability, and long-term sustainability in housing for some of the most vulnerable in our community.
