Prince William Conservation Alliance and Green Steeze Present: Fall Planting at Veterans Park

Together we will learn about planting native trees and shrubs, host plants, and protecting from deer browse, all while gaining valuable hands-on experience and protecting the natural world.
This event is also supporting another planting in partnership with Prince William County Watershed Management Branch and Keep Prince William Beautiful! By signing up here and filling out a volunteer waiver you can participate in either planting.

Bring your own shovels and hand rakes! Wear long sleeves, pants, and sturdy shoes! Bring your refillable water bottle if you have one!

Join neighbors and local field experts to help plant trees and shrubs to support our beautiful county park. Light refreshments will be provided.

Meeting location: We will meet at the gazebo across from the pickleball courts. (See map below)
Parking: You can either park in the parking area next to the Pickleball courts and cross the street or you can park in the smaller parking lot. Parking is first come, first served and other park visitors will have access to these areas.
