Join us for In the Dark at the University of San Diego's La Gran Terraza for an unforgettable evening where you’ll immerse yourself in art you can touch, music you can feel, and a unique dining experience.
In the Dark Experience | $125 | 6–8 PM
Join us for a memorable evening celebrating the talents and perspectives of the blind and low vision communitythrough art, music, food, and connection.
Your experience includes:
- A specially curated three-course meal and the option to wear a blindfold during the dining experience
- Wine and beer service
- Meet blind and low vision Design Thinkers from USD’s Engineering 103 class and learn about their accessibility projects
- Tactile art and live entertainment
- Browse and purchase artwork from featured artisans
- Bid on special items in our silent auction

In the Dark Signature Experience | $150 | 5–8 PM
Enjoy everything included in the In the Dark Experience, plus early access from 5–6 PM for a more personal experience with our featured artisans and Design Thinkers.
Your Signature Experience includes:
- An intimate one-hour VIP meet & greet
- Meet featured blind and low vision artisans and Design Thinkers
- Hear more about their stories, artwork, and accessibility projects
- Early access to explore and purchase artwork
- Three-course meal, wine and beer service, live entertainment, and silent auction
- Admission to the full In the Dark Experience
Come early, meet the people behind the evening, and enjoy a little more time to connect, learn, and experience their work firsthand.

Proceeds will primarily support USD’s Engineering Exchange for Social Justice (ExSJ), where engineering students and members of the blind and low vision community work together to create solutions that improve accessibility and independence. A portion of the proceeds will also benefit Gifted Back, helping grow programs that celebrate talent, create opportunities, and support the blind and low vision community.
