Want to learn how to belly dance? Join our Tuesday night classes at 5 Koshas Yoga & Wellness in Wausau, WI.
In-Studio Beginner Belly Dance 8-Week Series 6-7 PM & In-Studio Intermediate & Advanced 8-Week Series 7-8 PM with Anna Nummelin, Dance Instructor from Wausau Belly Dance!
Tuesday, February 25th - April 29th. No classes on March 18th or April 1st.
Beginner + Intermediate & Advanced dancers are welcome!
Beginner 6-7 PM: This easy beginner course is the perfect introduction to belly dance and is geared toward women who are new to dancing. The class will emphasize gentle and fun belly dance movements including body isolations of the shoulders, chest, arms, and hips. It is a great opportunity for advanced dancers to review and fine-tune core technique. All are welcome - no experience needed!
Intermediate & Advanced 7-8 PM: This intermediate course will build upon movements and concepts from the beginner class, including drills to build strength and stamina, posture, and technique. This class is geared toward choreography and performance.
Special permission is needed to register for this course. Prior dance experience is required.
Enrollment Requirements: Beginner - No Experience Needed. Intermediate & Advanced: Prior Belly Dance Experience Required. Recommend taking the beginner class a minimum of 3 times prior to entering the intermediate/advanced class.
