About SOUP
SOUP is Tulsa's premier retro-soul outfit. A mainstay of the Tulsa music scene, SOUP brings together Tulsa's top players for a set of original soul to In Session at The Church Studio. Featuring an evolving roster of elite Tulsa talent, SOUP is the vehicle for vocalist, guitarist, and songwriter, Dane Arnold. Dane arrived in Tulsa via Baton Rouge and Austin and immediately immersed himself in the local scene. Drawing influence from sources as diverse as gospel, classic soul, Bob Dylan, D'Angelo, Stevie Wonder, and Van Morrison, Dane and his varieties of "Soup" have become a staple of Tulsa's nightlife. In Session with SOUP is a great way to hear some of the best music Oklahoma has to offer.
