About this Event
Experimenting with the art of Canadian smocking, attendees will explore a variety of patterns to manipulate fabric, working with a range of materials to see how different weights, textures and scale create interesting forms. This is a powerful fabric manipulation technique for creating intriguing patterns. All materials provided.
Your Tutor
Hannah Glossop is an award-winning textile designer and embroidery artist. She adores experimenting with vibrant colour and engaging 3D textiles. She has a first-class honours degree in Textile Design and specialises in Mixed media. She loves creating textural and stimulating pieces that reuse materials in an engaging and playful way.
