This foundational training is for teachers, parents, caregivers, counselors, therapists, and current yoga teachers who want to share the tools of yoga, meditation, and mindfulness with young children. Join Senior Kids Teachers, Deven Sisler & Abbie Rexroad, to explore the most essential principles of working with young children and finding your own restoration.This session will explore:
* Tools for Self-Regulation & Behavioral Management
* Time Tested Teaching Tools: Storyvinyasa & Song
* Practice Teaching: Sun Salutations & Meditations
* Obstacle Courses & Mindful Games
* The Power of Developmental Stages, age appropriate goals, & Class Plans
* Self-Care & Rejuvenation for Facilitators
Attending this weekend and completing the online homework (4 hours) will count 15 hours towards Yoga Alliance Registered Children's Yoga Teacher certification (RCYT 95 hours) and/or Continuing Education credits Deven Sisler’s Children’s Yoga School

Abbie playfully empowers adults & kids to be their best selves through connection and community, yoga and mindfulness. A 500 hour, Prenatal, Kids Yoga & Aerial Yoga certified teacher and devoted Auntie, she has been working with children since 1999 at Camp Woodchuck & Rainbows United Inc in Kansas, then a Parent Educator for MountainStar and Together For Children, an Inclusion Specialist at NeighborImpact and is currently a teacher at Bend Forest School.
