In-person class: French Macarons (DC)

Discover the art of crafting elegant, berry-inspired French macarons with crisp, delicate shells and luscious summer fruit fillings. Perfect for beginners and baking enthusiasts alike, this fun and approachable 2.5-hour class will guide you through each step of the process—from whipping the perfect meringue and mastering the macaronage technique, to piping, baking, assembling, and of course, tasting.

You’ll create beautiful macarons featuring fresh seasonal flavors like raspberry buttercream and blueberry jam, while learning tips and tricks to ensure success in your own kitchen. By the end of the class, you’ll head home with a gorgeous box of your handmade treats and the confidence to make them again and again. Oh là là!
Macarons are delicate confections made with almond flour; perfect for those who prefer gluten-free or dairy-free treats!
No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive, not hardcore. This class is designed to be just as fun for the baking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting (or taste testing).
Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in. You will be seated with your booking party, and guests in the same party will work together throughout the class by sharing ingredients and equipment. Drinks are NOT included in the ticket price but will be available for sale at the venue. Outside drinks are not allowed.
