In-Person Class: Classic Handmade Pasta (Portland)

There is nothing so delicious as fresh pasta, and creating it yourself.
Learn how to make the perfect pasta dough and then transform it into beautiful Fettuccine noodles. While your pasta dough is resting, your Chef Instructor will demo how to make a Classic Marinara sauce from scratch. Then we'll break out the pasta rollers to learn the traditional way of flattening out the dough until it can be shaped into the perfect noodle. Once your pasta noodles are cooked in boiling water, you will be able to sit down and enjoy your pasta paired with fresh sauce. Sit back, relax, and enjoy tasting your handmade creation!
No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you do not already have them in your home kitchen. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who is happier observing and assisting (or taste testing).
Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in. Outside drinks are not allowed. Our venue partner ENSO Winery has a great selection of wine and beverages available for purchase. To ensure the safety and enriching experience of all participants, we require children aged 14 to 17 be accompanied by a parent or guardian during our cooking classes. Classes are intended for adults 21+.
