The kids and I are holding an in memory of blood drive for Ang. As many of you know I work for the American Red Cross and I finally decided to hold a blood drive in Angie's memory. I have thought about the last couple of years, and finally decided to make it happen. So, on what would be her 54th birthday, we are celebrating her life once again, by asking people to give the gift of life.
At this point I am just putting out a save the date for the drive. The drive is active on the redcrossblood.org website and I will include the link at the end of this message. We have a pretty substantial goal and would welcome anyone who knew Angie to come and sign up to donate.
We will have food and snacks available, still to be determined what, but we have some ideas.
The blood drive is being held at the Country Inn and Suites in Woodbury on June 18th, 2026 from 12:00 - 6:00.
Many of you know that Angie spent 31 years in the hotel industry and worked at this property for about a year and a half a number of years ago. I was excited that we were able to secure the space at this property, thanks to her friend Heather that now works there. (There's more to that relationship then I am including here)

We are extremely excited to be holding this drive and ultimately would like to make it an annual event going forward. Angie touched so many lives that I truly just wanted to find a way to be able to give back in her name.
