Interactive Planning: Show Your Stories Through Place It!
In this first workshop of our 3-part Community Engagement Summer Series, we will listen and tell stories to each other through Place It!, a design- and participation-based urban planning practice founded by artist James Rojas. Place It! engages people in urban planning, transportation, design, landscape, and neighborhood change through their hands and senses so that they can be creative and expansive in their thinking and offer up real solutions to the challenges facing our cities and neighborhoods.
Whether you’re new to community-engaged work or looking to deepen existing efforts, this dynamic series will offer valuable insights, collaborative learning opportunities, and actionable tools you can apply right away. You are welcome to attend any of the workshops, or all three.
Please register in advance. Refreshments provided.
