Join The Black Girl Social Club- Boston Chapter in partnership with Frugal Bookstore for an unforgettable evening with , celebrated author and NAACP Image Award winner, as she discusses her powerful latest release, Harlem Rhapsody. This facilitated conversation will explore the inspiration, historical depth and resonant themes behind the novel- spotlighting Black brilliance, womanhood, ambition and legacy.

Our postponed Book Signing has a new date- April 2nd!

What was once a beautiful close to Black History Month and opening to Women’s History Month will now gather us during National Poetry Month, a fitting alignment as we celebrate the rhythm, legacy, and cultural brilliance woven throughout Harlem Rhapsody. April also marks Financial Literacy Month, a meaningful nod to the ambition, enterprise and economic empowerment reflected in the Harlem Renaissance era that inspires this powerful story.

We look forward to welcoming you for an evening of conversation, connection, and celebration of Black literary excellence.
