UmmPact Boston: April Impact Happy Hour

Join UmmPact Boston for an in-person evening of connection, conversation, and community.

Boston is an exceptional hub for social impact work, spanning sustainable finance, impact investing, philanthropy, social entrepreneurship, academia, and more. Yet for a city full of people doing this work, there are surprisingly few informal, cross-sector spaces to simply connect. UmmPact was created to fill that gap.

Launched in March 2025, UmmPact began as a small, intentional community grounded in a simple idea: to pause before using the word “impact.” The name reflects that moment of thoughtful pause—recognizing that the term is often overused while misunderstood, and not always meaningfully applied. UmmPact creates space for more thoughtful conversations and genuine connections to foster collaborations around the work we do.

Join us this Thursday, April 2, from 4:30–6:30 PM for our April gathering, generously hosted by Ceres and Sierra Club Massachusetts.

Expect a curated mix of practitioners across sectors and experience levels—no panels, no programming, just a welcoming space for real conversations, over some beverage and snacks.
