About this Event

Join us for a conversation with Elaine Thomson about her newest stand-alone novel, Saltwater, the second instalment in a quartet of seasonal ghost stories set around Scotland. Saltwater is a haunting, atmospheric tale set on the Isle of Stroma in 1896 and follows Tom, who is tasked with overseeing the construction of a lighthouse. When strange things start to happen, Tom finds himself having to quell the fears and superstitions of his crew, which proves increasingly difficult among the isolation and the delirious summer heat. Thomson’s quartet is perfect for fans of Michelle Paver, Sarah Waters, and C. J. Cook!

Elaine will be in conversation with one of our booksellers, with a subsequent Q&A and the opportunity to get your book signed. Please note the event is ticketed.
