Mark Makers with Di Bumpus
About this Event
Workshop Facilitator - Di Bumpus
Discover the endless creative possibilities of line, shape and texture in this playful drawing workshop. Using pencils and a variety of drawing materials, you'll experiment with dots, dashes, squiggles, patterns and marks to create exciting effects and expressive artwork.
Through a series of fun activities and creative challenges, you'll explore how different marks can communicate movement, texture and emotion, building confidence in drawing while developing skills that can be used in any future artwork. Perfect for curious creatives who love to experiment and discover new ways of making art.
All materials are provided, and no previous experience is necessary.
All young people need to be accompanied by an adult.
This is a family-friendly workshop suitable for all ages, so bring along the whole family – parents, carers, grandparents and friends are all welcome.
Together, we are committed to making creativity accessible to everyone by providing affordable, high-quality arts activities in the heart of Aberdeen city centre throughout the summer holidays. We aim to create welcoming, inclusive and inspiring spaces where children, young people, adults and families can explore their creativity, learn new skills and spend quality time together.
By attending this workshop, you are supporting the local creative community and Charlie House's charitable work.
This workshop is part of the SPARK! Summer Art Club delivered by SMART Art Agency in partnership with Bon Accord and EDIT Aberdeen.
