About the Artists:
Myrrh is a project by drummer and composer Jacob Little Cloud Fawcett (Lac Courte Oreilles Band of Ojibwe) and guitarist Chad M. Clark that extends their improvisational practice into a collective, long-form setting. The group works with repetitive structures that serve as platforms for sustained improvisation, allowing material to unfold gradually over extended durations. Balancing restraint and accumulation, Myrrh rides subtle shifts in texture, density, and resonance, privileging process over development and immersion over narrative. Repetition functions not as stasis but as a field in which chance, attention, and minute variation shape the music in real time.
One Time Out takes its name from an album by the great Paul Motian, a common source of inspiration for all band members. Formed in 2025, this improvising trio is made up of saxophonist Michael Hudson-Casanova, guitarist Andrew Sudhibhasilp, and drummer Adam Shead, and takes an egalitarian approach by welcoming compositions and ideas from all.
