Improv Lunch with Syd Campbell

In this brand new offering for fall 2025, Syd has imagined a community of improvisers who can drop in, do some improv on a dang weekday, get feedback, and stay in the game outside of a strict class environment. We wanted a series that felt fun, flexible, and valuable for folks keen to keep improvising even if a full class doesn’t make sense at the moment.

Each session, you’ll warm up, grab some reps on a skill, and do a bunch of scenes. It’ll be casual, funny and good.

Here’s how it the back end will work:

– Everyone joins the group for a nice approachable cost.

– Once you’re in, you get a code that gives you access to each session (dates below).

– Registration opens for each session two weeks before it happens. First come, first served, up to 12 spots.

– You don’t need to come to each one, we like the idea that the group will shift a bit each time but you’ll also recognize folks.

At the end of the fall, we’ll do a showcase just for folks in this group. This won’t be like a normal class where you’re running your full sets in class, but you’ll still be able to show off what you’ve been working on.

This is brand new! We’d love your feedback on what you like or don’t about this set up, and we reserve the right to make adjustments as we go! Let’s get those reps!

Refunds & Cancellations – Registration is non-refundable within two weeks of a class' start date. Refunds for class fees are available prior to the two week cut off, however Eventbrite fees will not be refunded. If you have any questions or concerns about refunds, please email [email protected].

Accessibility - The venue is accessible from the street level with no steps up – the main door has a significant lip, but the side door (which will be unlocked for classes) is level to the sidewalk.

Show Day Information - Wondering when your shows are? 95% of BTC shows are on Wednesday nights at 7PM or 9PM. Your exact show schedule will be sent on the first weekend of your class!
