Improv 101: Intro to Improv (Mondays 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM)

Explore the fundamentals of improv - agreement, commitment, teamwork, spontaneity and listening through fun exercises and group play.

Dates: This class runs Mondays from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, starting August 11th and running for 8 weeks. A showcase will be scheduled as an additional opportunity on an evening during the week of October 5th or 12th.

Instructor: Asia Briggs

Asia is basically going to be your mom and biggest fan for life. Starting out as just an enthusiastic member of the audience, she was lovingly pressured into taking 101 by Emilee and Sam in the Summer of 2023. After going through the classes, she realized she would like to teach the future. Her foray into teaching came with TAing some mighty fine 101s, 201s, and 301s for the last year and now she is ready to be the ring leader for her own adventure. Full of love, joy, and silliness- you won't be let down by taking this class with one of the best!

COST: $250 (Early Bird $220)

We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise that prevent you from attending or completing your registered class. While we do our best to accommodate such situations, refunds are awarded only as credit for a future class or shows and are subject to the discretion of The Coalition Theater management. Requests for refunds will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and any decisions regarding refunds will be made at the discretion of the theater.
