Improv 1: Let's Play! — Beginner Improv Course (Raleigh)
About this Event
A six-week beginner improv course in Raleigh. No experience needed. No performance pressure. Just play, connection, and a lot of laughter.
You don't need to be funny. You don't need experience. Most people come alone.
If you've been curious about improv — or just looking for something genuinely fun and human in Raleigh — this is the place to start.
Improv 1: Let's Play! is Leela's signature beginner course. Six Wednesday evenings, small group, led by Nick Parker. It's not about performance. It's about play, connection, and showing up as yourself.
Students regularly tell us it's the best thing they've done for themselves in years.
What to expect:
You'll laugh. You'll feel a little nervous at first — everyone does. By the end of the first night, you'll wonder why you waited so long.
Each class builds on the last, using games and exercises rooted in spontaneity, collaboration, and trust. No scripts. No auditions. No experience required — ever.
