The session will also underscore the critical role of establishing a positive, supportive classroom culture in a CBE environment, creating a more equitable and engaging learning experience for all students.

Info: In this session, we’ll explore the essential process of transforming broad academic standards into specific, actionable proficiency scales, a foundational element of Competency-Based Education (CBE). Proficiency scales serve as the roadmap, clarifying what students need to know and be able to do at each stage of learning, thus linking standards directly to instructional practices and assessments.
