Hello Ladies and Gentlemen,Get ready for something brand new, bold, and downright fun the first-ever Mrs. Roper Romp, happening in Sedalia at the Missouri State Fairgrounds! This is a fund raiser for our annual Youth in Ag. We really appreciate the support and would like to see all of you there.
This lively, colorful event is designed to bring the community together in a big way while serving an even bigger purpose: supporting our Youth Goat Camps, a nationally recognized youth-in-agriculture program now in its 8th year.
The Mrs. Roper Romp takes place in the vendor and activity areas, near the FFA building.
What to Expect:
✨ A high-energy, Mrs. Roper–inspired romp full of personality
✨ Table decorating competitions
✨ Trivia and fun contests
✨ “Best of” awards for all things Roper
✨ Vendors, food, and specialty drinks
✨ A welcoming, laughter-filled atmosphere
and so much more!
Earlier in the day, we’ll also be offering free, hands-on creative classes open to everyone — including fiber arts, soap making, and other creative experiences. These classes take place before the Romp begins and are a great way to enjoy what we have at our event.
This is our first year hosting the Mrs. Roper Romp, and our goal is simple:
Make it so fun, so memorable, and so community-driven that it grows into one of the largest Roper Romps in the country.

We’re wrapping up at 4:00 PM intentionally so participants can head into Sedalia afterward to enjoy local restaurants, shops, and businesses, many of whom we will be asking to support this event through our partnership with the Sedalia Chamber of Commerce.
