Course Description
This course will discuss the history and procedures for restoring an edentulous arch with dental implants and a fixed, detachable/hybrid restoration. With these restorations, a non-removable prosthesis will allow for full function while maintaining high levels of repairability and reliability. We will discuss the steps and protocols for restoring the patients’ needs using the newly introduced Straumann components, which will assist in this process.

Speaker:
Mr. Morris is the MicroDental Laboratories and ADL Dental Lab CEO. After graduating from the University of Louisville School of Business with a degree in Marketing and Finance in 1991, he purchased ADL Dental Laboratory. Mr. Morris decided to educate himself on dental implants, a section of dentistry that was underserved and growing rapidly. He enrolled in multiple continuing education courses available to learn both the laboratory and clinician side of implant dentistry.
Mr. Morris has been lecturing for many implant companies, including Nobel Biocare, Straumann, Zimmer/Biomet, and Thommen Medical. His area of expertise is assisting with treatment planning, using multiple implants to restore the edentulous arch, and immediate load provisionalization with a fixed hybrid. His experience with fixed hybrids and early immediate loading protocols has led him to become a chairside assistant at the surgical level, along with the general practitioner. He is currently a featured presenter for Straumann and is part of numerous implant and restorative local study clubs.
