iMovie Animal Explorer Lab
About this Event
iMovie Animal Explorer Lab
Ages 6–12
In iMovie Animal Explorer Lab, students become wildlife filmmakers, storytellers, and video editors as they create their own animal documentaries using iMovie. Through fun, hands-on activities, participants will learn the fundamentals of documentary-style video production while combining animal animations, images, narration, music, and sound effects to tell engaging stories about the natural world.
Students will learn how to organize video clips, record voice-overs, add titles and transitions, and edit footage to create a professional-looking documentary. By exploring animal habitats, behaviors, and adaptations, participants will develop storytelling, communication, creativity, and digital media skills while producing their own short wildlife films.
