NEW LOCATION: EAA Aviation Learning Center, 349 Piper Street
This is the new chapter hangar on the east side of the airport.
Please join our host, Certified Flight Instructor, Bob Dilk, as we explore another aviation safety topic.
This month's topic will have us talking about the thrills of and how to prepare for flying into the great EAA annual event in Oshkosh. Even if you aren't planning to fly to the show (maybe you drive?), this will be an informative and educational session that will have you thinking about practicing, or watching from the EAA Aviation Learning Center front porch, someone else practice spot landings.
WINGS credit will be granted for this session.
You are invited to join in on the conversation and learn from real world scenarios, including those of your fellow aviators.
You don't need to be a pilot, a chapter member or even an EAA member to attend.

Here are more details about the overall purpose of these gatherings.
IMC Club
The purpose of EAA Instrument Meteorological Conditions (IMC) Clubs is to promote instrument flying, proficiency, and safety. The intent is to create a community of pilots willing to share information, provide recognition, foster communications, promote safety, and build proficiency in instrument flying.
VMC Club
Non-instrument rated pilots who want to improve their proficiency have an excellent resource through EAA’s Visual Meteorological Conditions (VMC) Clubs. The purpose of EAA VMC Clubs is to build proficiency when flying under visual flight rule conditions.
These gatherings are extensions to local EAA chapters and offer monthly meetings in which pilots can network and share knowledge and experience.
The meetings use real-world scenarios to engage members, and allow a free exchange of information that improves awareness and skills.
The intent is to create a community of pilots willing to share information, provide recognition, foster communications, promote safety, and build proficiency.
