Image Transfer Evening

Join us at The Goose in Worthing for a relaxed, hands-on evening exploring the magic of image transfer.

Using simple tape-transfer techniques, we’ll take images from printed materials- photographs, illustrations, magazines and found imagery- and transform them into something new. You’ll experiment with transferring images onto paper and combining, layering and reworking them to create your own unique artwork.

No previous art experience is needed. This is a chance to slow down, get creative and see what happens when an image is taken out of its original context and given a new life.

What to expect:

• An introduction to the image transfer technique
• Hands-on experimentation with printed images and tape
• Opportunities to layer, collage and manipulate your transfers
• Time to create your own finished piece (or several!)
• A relaxed, social evening at The Goose

All materials will be provided, but you’re very welcome to bring along any small printed images, photographs or magazine cuttings that you’d like to experiment with.

Come along, have a drink, meet some creative people and discover how a simple piece of tape can turn a printed image into something completely different.

Suitable for beginners and anyone curious about making images in a playful, experimental way.
