An immersive inter-arts performance where words, sound, and visuals interweave to explore identity, ancestry, and transformation. Two creative trios and three Wordcore bands bring original, deeply collaborative performances to the stage, with an immersive installation and exhibition at intermission — featuring Blackout Poetry Aotearoa and Yellow Lamp Poetry. Illuminated Horizons is not just a show, it's an experience — an immersive lshowcase where words, sound, and visuals interweave to explore identity, ancestry, and transformation, presented across two performances for National Poetry Day. This year, two creative trios and three Wordcore bands present original inter-arts performances shaped through deep collaboration and shared vision.

Three Wordcore Bands
All three bands have been developing their work in collaboration with Auspicious Studios — Kyung Ho Min and Darryl Chin.

Immersive Exhibition — Intermission
Midway through the show, step into an immersive installation and exhibition — meet the artists and lose yourself in impact storytelling. This year's exhibition is curated by Yellow Lamp Poetry (Ash Raymond James) and Blackout Poetry (Hebe Kearney), alongside further installation work from the participating trios and bands.
